The proposed masterplan seeks to provide Great Bowden with a characterful entrance at its eastern end, and responds to the site constraints and opportunities, the topography, views from Dingley Road, and many of the existing trees and hedgerows.
The proposed building typologies are reflective of those in the existing terrace to the west of the Site, and the proposed accompanying Design Code secures a baseline design quality.
The development proposal will provide up to 11 dwellings, ranging from flats, two and three bedroom houses, and larger four and five bedroom houses. The development proposal also provides a mixture of tenures, including affordable social rented and intermediate.
